How to Care for Your L&K Embers Candle

To get the most from your luxury candle, follow these simple care tips and enjoy a cleaner, longer, and safer burn every time.

🕯️ First Burn

Allow your candle to burn until the entire surface has melted to the edges on the first use. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the life of your candle.

✂️ Trim Your Wick

Before each burn, trim your wick to 5mm. A trimmed wick reduces soot, prevents mushrooming, and helps your candle burn more evenly and cleanly.

⏱️ Burn Time

Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the wax to cool and solidify completely before relighting.

🔥 Safe Burning

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
• Always burn on a heat-resistant surface.
• Keep out of drafts to avoid uneven burning.

🛑 When to Stop

Discontinue use when approximately 10mm of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. This protects the surface beneath and prevents overheating of the glass.

♻️ Repurpose Your Vessel

Once your candle has finished, clean out the remaining wax with warm soapy water and repurpose your beautiful Cambridge amber glass vessel as a storage jar, vase, or décor piece.
